10 Missed Steps In Dropshipping On eBay

They say the most efficient way to success is through consistent mundane tasks. Those small actions compounded over time on top of each other will lead to big wins. And that's eBay in a nut shell. You start with 1 item and then the next and the next until you have 100's of items that sell well and make tons of profits for yourself.

1. Failure To Maximize Profits - Take the time to research the product your selling on eBay. You need to do a completed item search of the product your selling.

Here's how you do it. Click on the "Completed Listing Box" and then click on the "Sort By Highest Price" option. You now have the going rate for your item.

2. Optimize your title and category. Use as many common keywords as you can use and when possible. Try to use categories that get you exposure that the other competitors can't use.
3. Use a Title creator software. One of the best softwares I use is FREE on eBay. Just type in "Labs eBay Title Tool" in Google and you'll see it right away.
4. Never get to desperate. Never put yourself in a position where your making $5-$10 a item. Drop shipping is very rewarding when you back it with the right mindset.
5. Aim for the big shots. We have two types of people on eBay. The first type of person looks to get the cheapest price and the other type of person just wants good quality stuff fast. You want to target your listing for person #2. Walk away from the rest of the buyers (Not worth it)
6. Stop relisting items that don't sell without getting down to the issue WHY it hasn't been selling.
7. Add keywords in you images, you'll get a boost in the search. Optimize everything with the keywords you want to use.
8. Be Super careful in shipping. Package properly and get the insurance on $!00 or more items. Note: In my experience Fed Ex paid out on claims faster.
9. Not answering your emails. Fast responses means happy customers and also it means more sales.
10. Get organized in your listings. Keep track of your listings and where you sell them.
Bonus: Sell on both. Most items that do well on eBay will do well on Amazon. So get into the habit of listing on Amazon as well.

1. Embrace your role.In my first attempt at being a FULL TIME Daddy I kept thinking about the negatives. I thought about how people would feel, what would happen when my baby needed me and I couldn't show up, and it being fair (will talk about "FAIRNESS" later). My advice to you is to embrace your role..
2. Don't back down. Women live in this domain all the time but this is new territory to us men. Stand your ground in the house despite your new role. Some men take a drop in their income when they come home as a Full Time dad so things can get tricky with the balance of power in the home. Be strong, let your partner know that your gonna hold up your end no matter what extremes you have take.
3. Be honest all the time. Sometimes you run into some issues in cleaning,babysitting, and so many things and you wouldn't have, if you were just honest. Know your weaknesses and seek help.
4. Get out of the house for your sake. Take the kids to the park or go out for lunch, yet don't stay in the house because you'll go crazy.
5. Stay connected with your friends. One of the biggest things that happen to me was I stop hanging out with my friends and I notice I was more on the edge.Take time for yourself.
6. Take a females advice from time to time.
7. Get from it versus Getting through it. Enjoy everyday. Find things that make you feel useful. Get out of the habit of wishing things were over.
8. Keep getting better. Don't stop reading, studying, and being a man. Go to the gym, get faster,smarter, and keep growing (Life is all about improvement).
9. Bring in a significant income. Men are reward driven and one of the Worlds biggest rewards is money. Look into Internet Marketing, eBay, and other online opportunities to not just pass the time but generate a healthy income from home.
10. Push yourself. Be the best stay at home parent their is. For 4 years I've worn this title and I still strive to be a better and better parent.
